Preserving classical tradition while guiding the next generation of dancers.
Bharatanatyam is one of the oldest classical dance forms of India — a living tradition of nritta (pure dance), nritya (expressive dance), and natya (dramatic storytelling). Every adavu, mudra, and abhinaya gesture carries centuries of cultural meaning passed from guru to shishya.
Natya AI was built to honour this tradition. Whether you trained for years with an outside guru or academy, our level tests recognise your journey — clear the evaluation and receive a certificate that validates your Bharatanatyam level.
Precision in adavus, rhythm, and body lines
Abhinaya, margam repertoire, and stage presence
Choreography, presentation, and inner devotion
Our platform uses computer vision and classical dance pedagogy to evaluate your performance across structured dimensions — not to replace your guru, but to give you precise feedback between classes.
Select Unnati, Pravāha, or Kalānidhi based on your training journey — each level evaluates specific dimensions suited to your experience.
Dance your piece while our AI captures posture, adavu precision, hasta mudras, abhinaya, and stage presence through computer vision.
Get scored results across every evaluation dimension with classifications — Emerging, Secure for the level, or Strong — plus guru-style written insights.
Score Secure for the level or above to receive your official Natya AI certificate — recognising the years of training you bring from outside.
Score Classification
Every dimension is rated using three clear bands so you know exactly where you stand:
Whether you are learning your first adavus or preparing solo margam presentations, choose the tier that matches your Bharatanatyam journey. Each level includes three sub-level evaluations inside.
Includes Level 1, Level 2, Level 3
If you have been learning dance for 2–5 years, have learnt a few adavus, alarippu and basic theory in Bharatanatyam — this is for you. You could be an 8 year old or a 40+ something, it does not matter.
Areas evaluated
Includes Level 4, Level 5, Level 6
If you have been learning dance for 5–10 years, have learnt at least one full Margam in Bharatanatyam — this is for you. You could be a 10 year old or a 40+ something, it does not matter.
Areas evaluated
Includes Level 7, Level 8, Level 9
If you have been learning dance for over 10 years, and know multiple Margams, involved in choreography/conceptualization, teaching dance for juniors, performing either as solo or group — this is for you. You could be a 15 year old or a 60+ something, it does not matter.
A personal mentor will guide you throughout the entire course — from evaluation through every stage of your Kalānidhi journey.
Areas evaluated
Beyond evaluation, Natya AI supports your daily practice with pose detection, expression analysis, and long-term progress tracking.
Real-time mapping of adavus, aramandi depth, and hasta mudras against classical reference poses.
Evaluate abhinaya quality — eyebrow movement, gaze direction, and emotional conveyance in padams.
Visualize improvement over weeks with scored sessions, radar charts, and guru-style feedback.
Explore Unnati, Pravāha, or Kalānidhi — practice adavus, receive structured AI feedback, and track your progress toward margam mastery.
